A message from the Friends:

The Choir is getting closer to 2008 -its Centenary year.
This group of gentlemen of past and present can be proud of providing a wonderful variety of musical entertainment to the people of Nottingham, other areas of the United Kingdom and beyond. They would agree it has all been possible with the support of audiences of all ages and additionally a dedicated few who fund raise and do all sorts of tasks to keep the organisation running.

These few lines are to mention that during 2004, it was decided to recognise those in the audience who quite often attend these musical occasions, and who might feel they would like to be rather closer to the Choir, but perhaps do not wish to be singing members.

As a result it was decided to form the Friends of Carlton Male Voice Choir group. Whilst not requiring them to do anything other than hopefully continue their support, it is to ensure that such a membership would have extra communication as to what is happening with teh Choir; what is programmed ahead; provide the official newsletter - "Harmony"; allow a ticket discount whenever we can and, as available, enable travel with the Choir.

Is there any cost involved? - Well, the annual subscription is 6 pounds for a single person or 9 pounds for a couple; this just about covers the issue of the newsletter and any other circulated information.

Please think about joining the Friends Group- give your name and address to a Choir member or send in the form and we will be in touch. Thank you for supporting the Choir.
