Carlton Male Voice Choir will celebrate its Centenary in 2008 - a very important landmark!
The beginnings...
Originally called the Netherfield Male Voice Choir, a group of railwaymen, under the early leadership of local coal merchant Mattie Mann, met for the sheer joy of singing in a suburb of Nottingham; they were soon giving concerts to entertain and support an incredible range of deserving causes.
