The Choir Today
With almost 90 members, the Choir is larger than it has ever been, attracting young members that, hopefully, will safeguard the future. Its repertoire is very wide-ranging with traditional, classical, operatic, ecclesiastical and modern ‘pop’ music included. 
English, Welsh, Irish, Scottish, European, New World and even African influences can be heard and almost all performances are given without musical copy – a tall order given that around 50 items will be in the repertoire at any one time.
It is more than the music, however, that keeps the Choir together; the members and their families enjoy many social activities. As one member put it;
“It’s not just a choir, more a way of life.”
