2004- Rosalyn Curwen

Rosalyn was born in 1968 to a French Mother and English father and was broght up in Buckinghamshire.
Her Father is a great music lover and gave her the opportunity of going to concerts and operas. At 16 she wanted to be an Opera Singer and started lessons.
She then pursued various occupations; Baker, Housing Project Volunteer, and lately a driver for a disabled girl.

For about 12 years Rosalyn has sung lead vocals in all sorts of bands from Soul to Folk, travelling far and wide at home and abroad.

Rosalyn is now devoting her energy to Classical Music and is taking the courses to support her in that desire. She has set a demanding task of progressing from very little theoretical knowledge of music to Grade 6 and A level Music.

She has sung with various Choirs including the Nottingham University Choir, and has helped to run workshops in Schools.

Rosalyn Speaks French and Italian, and has a variety of hobbies.

Her favourite singers are Kathleen Ferrier, Gundula Janowitz, and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau.
Her next step to achieving her dream of being an Opera Singer is to study a Bachelor of Music Degree.

The Choir wishes her every success!
