R.A.F. CRANWELL CONCERT

R.A.F.A. WINGS APPEAL 27th February 2009

What a cracker that was!
It was a fine opportunity for the Choir and supporters to experience a very unique concert with the R.A.F. Regiment Band under Director Matt Little. Thanks to Flight Lieutenant Ritchie Judson (John and Jean's son) and our Concert Secretary this concert was made possible at Ritchie's second attempt.

I know from the reactions of the Choir that this concert was 'special' and additionally Ritchie also planned the tour which was fully appreciated. The R.A.F. Cranwell has known many famous cadets including some Royals, Douglas Bader and Frank Whittle. We thank Ritchie and R.A.F. Management for allowing the event to take place.

The R.A.F. Association is the R.A.F. Charity which cares for verterans of the R.A.F. and was a worthy benefit. From Friday's Concert we ALL made the effort and travelled to Cranwell to make an investment in the Choir's future working with R.A.F.
